Lot 126 1794 S-62 R-4+ PCGS VF Detail (Exc. Corrosion). Olive brown patina with uniform moderate porosity and granularity covering the surfaces, likely buried in the ground for a time. There are dull hairline scratches that blend in well on the portrait. Despite the surfaces the details are sharp with full date and legends. 901374.97/43929264 $ 1,100

Lot 127 1794 S-63 R-3 Fallen 4 NGC VF35. Glossy medium chocolate and steel browns, the reverse a deeper steel with hints of reddish brown. A dull scrape atop Liberty’s hair below the E and a void below O in OF are the only notable marks. Parts of some reverse legends are weak from die lapping, Breen Die State II with die clashing visible on both sides. Lot 128 1794 S-63 R-2 ANACS AU50 Detail (Corroded, Burnished). Traces of microporosity across the obverse surfaces has been smoothed by an old burnishing leaving a ruddy chocolate and steel patina, deeper crimson in the protected areas. The reverse is a light to medium brown with olive brown around the dentils. A few trivial marks, nothing noteworthy. The repunching on the 7 and 4 in the date remains sharp. “Fallen 4” variety with the 9 and 4 out of proper alignment. 5299670 $ 4,200
