There are some traces of fine granularity and scattered abrasions on the surfaces, a shallow flake between ME in AMERICA, as well as a scuff on the rim under 17 in the date. Lot 86 1794 S-47 R-4 PCGS VF35. Light brown with deeper reddish chocolate in some protected areas along with traces of very shallow crud. Mostly trivial marks on the portrait and fields, one in front of Liberty’s mouth and pin scratches before the first A in AMERICA and between U N in UNITED the best identifying. Lot 87 1794 S-47 R-4 NGC VF30. Pleasing deep olive brown with hints of lighter chocolate on some high points. There are traces of microgranularity as well as a few marks on the cheek, neck and lower hair, otherwise glossy surfaces.
