LOT 238 1796 S-93 R3 Draped Bust F15+. Beautiful glossy light chocolate brown and olive. Ten points sharper and choice if not for some marks on the rim including a rim bruise at the L in LIBERTY, a lighter rim bruise off the lower end of the hair ribbon, and a dull but obvious rim nick under the bust. The only other notable contact mark is an old scratch hidden in the hair right of the ribbon. The planchet is perfectly smooth except for a small, inconspicuous spot of very fine corrosion at the left side of the L. MDS, Breen state IV early, with die cracks at RICA but no cud breaks.

LOT 235 1796 S-91 R3 Liberty Cap G4. Very slightly sharper with a clear date and LIBERTY but covered with fine to moderate roughness. No notable verdigris and the only marks are a small chip under the 7 and a small spot of fine roughness at EN in CENT. Slightly glossy chocolate brown and steel.

LOT 236 1796 S-92 R3 Draped Bust G4+. A few points sharper but covered with very fine corrosion, strongest on the reverse. No verdigris or contact marks. Slightly glossy dark olive and chocolate. The date and legends are easily readable. No visible die cracks.

LOT 239 1796 S-93 R3 Draped Bust PCGS graded G6. Glossy steel brown blending to medium chocolate in protected areas. No corrosion or verdigris, only minor marks. The notable marks are a minor rim bruise under the bust and a few tiny ticks around ONE CENT. EDS. The date and legends are easily readable. Our grade is G4+. 1401.06/33791207

LOT 237 1796 S-93 R3 Draped Bust F12. Sharpness near EF40 but lightly corroded, strongest on the left side of the obverse. No verdigris and the toning is an attractive glossy light chocolate and olive. Just a few contact marks including a nick on the bust tip, a minor rim bruise left of the fraction, a dull scratch over AM in AMERICA, and a small planchet chip at the first S in STATES. EDS, Breen state I, with an uncracked reverse. The date and legends are strong. Graded EF40 net VF20 by Del Bland.

LOT 240 1796 S-94 R5+ Draped Bust PCGS graded VG10. Several points sharper, especially on the reverse, but covered with fine granularity, mostly in protected areas. No verdigris and only minor contact marks including a small dig over the bust and a tiny chip at the top of the second S in STATES. Steel brown and chocolate. The date and legends are easily readable. Our grade is net G5. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. 35843.10/34344665
