LOT 107 1794 C-6a R5+ Small Edge Letters VG8. Sharpness VF20 but covered with fine to moderate granularity under slightly glossy dark olive brown and steel toning. The highpoints on the obverse are a lighter shade of brown and there are areas of reddish brown toning in protected areas on the reverse. The only marks are a couple very tiny planchet chips on the neck. The date and legends are complete and clear, and the eye appeal of the obverse is quite nice in spite of the imperfect surfaces. Weight 101.4 grains.

LOT 106 1794 C-2a R2+ Small Edge letters AG3. Very slightly sharper, especially on the obverse, but there is a scuff of light scratches on the 94 in the date and a dent over the T in CENT. Slightly glossy medium reddish steel brown with olive toning on the devices. The date is weak but complete and easily readable, and most of the legends are readable as well. HALF CENT and the fraction are weak or worn smooth. EDS, Manley state 1.0, before any die clashmarks.
