EARLY CENTS AUCTIONS

LOT 433 1829 N-1 R3 Large Letters, NGC graded VF25. Glossy medium brown with darker steel brown on the highpoints and frosty golden tan in protected areas. There are some minor contact marks on both sides; a rim nick at ED in UNITED can help identify this cent. MDS, Grellman state b, with a fine die crack at ME. Our grade is F15+. 4827096-025

LOT 434 1829 N-3 R3 Medium Letters F15+. Ten points sharper with extremely fine roughness in the fields and protected areas. There are a couple small spots of fine verdigris, and the only contact marks are some light nicks in the field off the chin and a small rim nick at star 3. Slightly glossy dark olive brown and steel with lighter steel brown on the highpoints. Flowline frost shows in some of the protected areas on the reverse. MDS.

  SHARPLY STRUCK 1829 N-5

LOT 435 1829 N-5 R3 Medium Letters VF30. Ten points sharper but covered with uniform microscopic granularity. No verdigris and the only notable mark is a small nick left of star 13. Frosty dark olive brown and steel with hints of lighter brown on the left side of the reverse. Sharply struck EDS, Grellman state a, with no crumbling in the dentils.

 ROTATED REVERSE

LOT 436 1830 N-3 R3 Large Letters EF45. Five points sharper with a few nicks on the chin. Otherwise very nice with great eye appeal. Lustrous light olive and bluish steel with tan in some protected areas and hints of faded mint red on the reverse. A spot of reddish brown toning right of the D in UNITED can help identify this cent. MDS. Struck with the reverse rotated 145 degrees clockwise.
