LOT 47 1804 C-9 R2 Spiked Chin, XF40 PCGS. Glossy olive and bluish steel brown. No defects, just light wear and microscopic marks, none notable. E-MDS, Manley state 2.0, Fuhrman state 2, with fine die cracks on the obverse and clashmarks on the reverse. LOT 48 1804 C-10 R2 Spiked Chin, MS63 Brown, CAC Approved. Lustrous steel brown with olive brown on the right side of the obverse and golden tan in protected areas. Small puffs of darker olive brown and steel toning show on both sides. A very light diagonal scratch touching the left end of the eyebrow and a small tick in the field before the neck are the only notable contact marks. A speck of darker toning right of the D in UNITED can help identify this piece. LDS, Manley state 3.0, Fuhrman state 3, with dentilation gone on the reverse.
