LOT 281 1800 S-205 R4 VG8 Sharpness near F12 but there are too many small contact marks on the obverse for the sharpness grade. Small rim nicks at the L & B in LIBERTY and a nick under that L can help identify this cent. Glossy light olive and medium brown with some darker olive brown in a few protected areas. MDS, Breen state II, with a faint horizontal die crack from the middle curl towards the rim. $300

1800 S-206 R3 F12 Sharpness VF25 but covered with fine granularity, strongest on the obverse. No verdigris and the only marks are a tiny rim bruise at the I in LIBERTY and another over the E in STATES. Slightly glossy dark olive brown and steel. MDS with die cracks on both sides but no cud break below the fraction. $450
