1800/179 S-193 R4 Overdate 180 over 179 VG10 Sharpness VF25 but dark with microscopic roughness covering the planchet. In addition there are numerous specks of shallow reddish brown verdigris on the left side of the obverse plus a few old scratches: two in the field under the hair ribbon and several fine ones in the field before the portrait. Slightly glossy very dark steel and olive brown. MDS, Breen state III, with die cracks on the reverse but no cud breaks. The date is strong and the overdate is obvious. Graded net F12 by Bland. $500
