LOT 187 1797 S-140 R1 VF25 Sharper by at least 5 points but there are tiny contact marks scattered over both sides, none significant but too many to ignore at this level of sharpness. A curved planchet clip left of the L in LIBERTY affects the dentils on both sides, and this mint-made error can quickly identify the cent. Glossy olive and light chocolate with lighter brown on the highpoints and reddish brown nestled into protected areas. M-LDS, Breen state VI, with fine die cracks and obvious swelling on both sides. $1,250
