LOT 365 1805 S-267 R1 VF30 Choice glossy medium brown and light chocolate. Smooth and quite attractive with just a few trivial contact marks, mostly in the field over the bust. A light rim bruise right of the F in OF can help identify this cent. M-LDS, Breen state III, with a dull die crack through the top of AME. Removed from a PCGS slab graded XF40 (PCGS label #1510.40/2641406 included). $1,500

LOT 366

1805 S-267 R1 VG10 Sharpness VF25 but covered with fine roughness, strongest on the portrait. No verdigris but there are a few scratches on the portrait. Lightly burnished on the obverse and retoned a rather glossy olive brown and chocolate. M-LDS, Breen state III, with a light crack through the top of AM. $250
