1803 S-252 R2 VF20 Slightly sharper but there are some light contact marks on the rims and a few patches of extremely faint roughness on otherwise smooth surfaces. A minor rim bruise well left of the L in LIBERTY is the only notable mark. Glossy light to medium chocolate brown with a few small splashes of reddish brown toning on both sides. EDS, Breen state I, with clashmarks but no cracks. $700

LOT 346

1803 S-252 R2 VG10 Several points sharper but there are two scratches in the field left of the lower curls, some nicks on the neck into the hair, a small dig in the leaves under AM, and traces of microscopic roughness on both sides. Slightly glossy dark olive brown and steel. No verdigris. M-LDS, Breen state VI, with a strong cud break connecting the 18 to the rim below. $300
