501 Breast Star. Civil Division. Silver, gilt and enamels. 90 mm. Late 1800s. By Keibel. Lightly gilded monogram on white enamel central medallion, motto of the Order around ‘ЗA TPУДЫ И OTEЧECTBO’ on red, with crowned green enameled spray. Imperial eagle, maker’s name ‘Keibel’ and ‘84*’; ‘*’ on the back, Imperial eagle and ‘Keibel’ on pin. Condition: A few trivial hairlines to the red enamel, otherwise a Superb, handsome, toned example.
