1126 Ptolemaic Kings of Egypt. Ptolemy III Euergetes (246-222 BC). Gold Mnaieion – ‘Oktadrachm’ (27.9mm; 27.81 g). Alexandria, posthumous, struck under Ptolemy IV, 219-217 BC. Bust of the deified Ptolemy III right, wearing a radiate diadem and aegis, trident over his left shoulder – the middle prong ending in a lotus finial.
