LOT 373 1831 N-2 R-2 Small Letters F15. 5 points sharper but there is a scratch and nick on and above star 1, minor rim bruises at D S in UNITED STATES and trivial marks and abrasions on the fields and devices. Pleasing light brown and steel on glossy, smooth surfaces. MDS, die state b.

LOT 370 1829 N-8 R-1 Large Letters AU55. UNC sharpness and appeal but there is a shallow maroon corrosion spot on the wreath under D in UNITED and another tiny speck above N in ONE. The only other notable mark is a nick below E in ONE. Attractive golden brown and olive with cartwheel luster on both sides. EDS.

LOT 374 1832 N-2 R-3 Small Letters MS63. Frosty golden brown with underlying faded mint red in some protected areas and light steel toning on some high points and fields. The only mark is a trivial nick under star 6. Frosty cartwheel luster covers the surfaces.

LOT 371 182X Brunk C-1172, C-41 Counterstamped Matron Head Cent AG3. Double stamped 182X Matron Head Cent. Curtis + Stiles Woodbury CT silversmiths, circulated 1835.

LOT 375 1834 N-1 R-1 Sm 8, Lg Stars, Med Letters MS60. Attractive light brown with puffs of darker steel and subtle bluish steel toning. Only the most trivial of marks and abrasions, nothing distracting. Frosty mint luster covers the surfaces.

LOT 372 1830 N-1 R-1 Large Letters VF25. 5 points sharper but there are a couple planchet voids on Liberty’s neck. A nick off the bust tip and another tiny one left of star 11 are the only marks. Glossy golden brown and reddish chocolate. EDS, die state a. Smooth surfaces.
