LOT 76 1820/19 N-1 R1 Large Overdate 20 over 19, PCGS graded MS62 Brown . Lustrous steel brown with traces of frosty golden tan faded down from mint color in protected areas, mostly on the reverse. Sharply struck with excellent eye appeal and just a light touch of friction on the highest points of the devices. There are some very light contact marks in the field before the portrait and a splash of darker reddish chocolate toning at ES in STATES. Otherwise choice. EDS, die state a, with sharp repunching on the 18 in addition to the overdate at the 2. Graded AU55 and tied for CC#2 honors in the Noyes census, his photo #69109. Our grade is AU55. LOT 77 1820/19 N-2 R2 Small Overdate 20 over 19, NGC graded AU58 . Glossy medium chocolate with frosty lighter brown in protected areas. The fields and protected areas are lustrous and this cent has very nice eye appeal. Just light friction on the devices and trivial marks including three faint hairlines on the face and a light scratch under the bust tip. None of the marks is visible to the unaided eye. MDS, die state b. The fields are flowlined but the overdate feature is still visible at both digits. Our grade is AU50+, close to AU55 . 3101219-010
