LOT 450 1853 N-14 R2+ Repunched 1, ANACS graded AU58 Details, Corroded. Frosty medium brown with puffs of light olive crud on the obverse and peeps of mint red on the reverse. There are some contact marks including a dull nick on the rim at star 10 and numerous very tiny ticks hidden among the devices on the reverse. Rare EDS, die state a, with all the fine die lines described in the Grellman reference plus fine repunching under the 8 & 5. Our grade is net EF45.
