LOT 409 1850 N-21 R2 PCGS graded MS64 Brown. Frosty light steel brown with traces of faded mint red on the obverse. Satiny and essentially flawless, void of any notable marks. Scarce E-MDS, die state a late. The earlier die lines from the dentils at star 2 are weak but some remain visible, and there are no rim cuds on the reverse (as seen on the hoard version of this variety). Our grade is MS60+. LOT 412 1850 N-25 R4 PCGS graded AU55. Frosty medium brown and steel. An attractive cent with light friction on the highpoints. The only notable mark, and it is invisible to the unaided eye, is a fine hairline scratch in the field before the portrait. MDS. The early die lines over ERI are weak but visible. LOT 410 1850 N-22 R3+ ANACS graded AU53. Frosty light to medium brown. Sharply struck with full radial lines in all the stars and sharp devices throughout. Choice except for a thin vertical nick on the jaw and a spot of darker toning at star 2. Rare LDS, die state c. All the earlier die lines are gone and there is a clear lump on the wreath stem under the U in UNITED. Our grade is net EF45+ . The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. 7330839
LOT 413 1850 N-26 R5- ANACS graded AU58. Lustrous light olive and steel brown with subtle overtones of sea-green. Sharply struck with complete radial lines in all the stars. Just the lightest touch of rub on the highest points of the devices, but there is some dirt nestled around the date and many of the devices. A speck of dark toning at the dentils near star 9 is the only notable mark. LDS, die state b. The die line over UN is short. Our grade is AU55 . The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. 7330838
LOT 411 1850 N-23 R2 ANACS graded AU55 Details, Corroded. Glossy medium brown and chocolate with reddish chocolate spots on the reverse. Some of those spots contain traces of verdigris, particularly one at the bottom of the reverse and another on the N in UNITED. Mint frost covers the protected areas, particularly on the obverse. MDS, die state b, with a dull line connecting the tops of the O & F in OF. Our grade is net EF40. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. 7301845
