LOT 403 1850 N-15 R2 ANACS graded MS60 Details, Corroded. A sharply struck cent that never saw circulation but there is a spot of powdery verdigris at LI, and that spot has been lightly scratched to remove most of the crud. There is no visible corrosion. Frosty light olive and steel brown with generous traces of mellowed mint red showing on both sides. A splash of greenish olive toning at the 85 is the most notable mark. EDS, die state a. All the early die lines are sharp. This cent could benefit from a proper bath to remove the powder and uncover the underlying luster. Our grade is net AU55. 7330818

LOT 407 1850 N-19 R2 ANACS graded EF45. Lightly cleaned and retoned glossy tan and olive brown with some reddish brown on the reverse. The obverse is attractive, the reverse not so much. EDS, die state a, with all the fine die lines clear and a strong lump between the 1 & 8. Our grade is net VF30. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. 7301846

LOT 404 1850 N-15 R2 ANACS graded AU55. Glossy light to medium brown. Very attractive with just a touch of rub on the highpoints. The only notable mark is a rim nick at IC in AMERICA. EDS, die state a, with smooth fields and all the early die lines clear. Our grade is AU50. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. 7330837

LOT 408 1850 N-19 R2 ANACS graded AU50. Glossy dark chocolate brown and steel with lighter tan in protected areas. Mint frost covers the protected areas on both sides. Just light friction on the highpoints and minor contact marks, but the toning may not be original. M-LDS, die state b. The lump between the 1 & 8 is gone. Our grade is EF40+. LOT 405 1850 N-17 R5 ANACS graded EF45. Frosty tan and olive with darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. A tiny rim nick left of star 4 is the best identifying mark. EDS, die state a.
