LOT 292 1836 N-6 R2 Gobrecht Head, ANACS AU58 Details, Recolored. Lightly cleaned and retoned lustrous olive and steel with hints of underlying faded red on the right side of the reverse. Sharply struck with very nice eye appeal. The only notable defect is a small area of roughness at the right bottom of star 7. LDS, Grellman state h, with numerous fine die cracks on the reverse. LOT 293 1837 N-1 R3 Plain Hair Cord AU55. Frosty medium steel brown. Satiny and very attractive with a hint of run on the highest points of the portrait. This cent has mint state eye appeal and it comes with a very nice provenance.
