LOT 269 1824 N-2 R2 ANACS VF35 Details, Scratched. Frosty dark olive brown and steel with lighter silvery gray in protected areas. Looks mark-free but a glass reveals a couple light scratches on the face and in the field to the left, the one from the lower lip to star 2 the only one worthy of mention. MDS, Grellman state b, with fine radial die flowlines from the dentils. Our grade is net VF30 . The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. 7464390

LOT 273 1826 N-4 R2 EF45. Five points sharper with a stain at the D in UNITED. The remainder of the planchet is a very attractive frosty light tan with steel brown toning on the highpoints. The only contact marks are two faint hairline scratches under star 7, and you need a glass to find them. MDS with lightly flowlined fields.

LOT 271 1824 N-3 R2 ANACS graded EF45. Very attractive glossy light chocolate brown. Smooth with only a few trivial marks, none notable. The gloss is enhanced by a thin later of Care or some similar protectant. EDS, Grellman state a, with a strong inner circle around most of the obverse. Our grade is VF35. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. 7464391

LOT 275 1829 N-7 R3 Large Letters ANACS graded VF20. Very attractive frosty light brown with steel brown toning on the devices. Flowline luster covers the fields and protected areas. The surfaces are consistent with a higher grade and there is not much wear on the devices, but the strike is soft, as usual for this variety, so grading is a challenge. MDS, Grellman state d. The obverse is uncracked but there are 4 spoke die cracks on the reverse. Our grade is VF20. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. 7661958

LOT 272 1825 N-1 R4 ANACS graded VF25. Glossy medium brown. Smooth with a few minor marks including a dull nick on the front edge of the throat and an arc of slightly darker toning from star 3 through stars 2-9. EDS+, Grellman state b, with a light die crack through the base of the date. Our grade is VF20+. A nice example of this tough variety. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. 7661956
