LOT 265 1821 N-2 R1 ANACS graded VF25. Frosty medium brown and steel. Sharp and void of notable marks, just lightly worn on the devices. Could use a bath to remove loose dirt in protected areas. MDS, Grellman state b. The die line from the bust tip is incomplete but still faintly visible. Our grade is VF20. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. 7464384

LOT 261 1819 N-4 R3 Close Stars, ANACS graded EF40. Choice glossy light chocolate brown with lighter steel brown on the devices. Satiny and very attractive, just lightly worn on the devices. A couple trivial ticks including a tiny diagonal nick under the ear lobe that may help identify this cent. E-MDS, Grellman state a, with a dull die line connecting the feet of the T & E in STATES. Our grade is VF30+ Choice, close to VF35. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. 7537308

LOT 266 1822 N-13 R5 ANACS graded G4. Glossy medium steel brown with slightly darker brown in the fields and protected areas. Smooth, just worn. A dull diagonal nick left of the ear lobe is the only notable mark. MDS. Our grade is G4. Nice for the grade. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. 7464385

LOT 262 1819 N-9 R1 ANACS EF45 Details, Corroded. Glossy olive brown and chocolate with lighter brown on the highpoints. There is a small patch of light corrosion and verdigris under the loop in the wreath ribbon plus a speck of verdigris on the top of the adjacent A, but the major “defect” on this cent is a lot of dirt. Needs a proper bath to uncover the underlying frost. MDS, Grellman state a late. The repunching over the R in AMERICA is dull but clearly visible. Our grade is net VF30. 7330807

LOT 267 1823 N-2 R2 ANACS graded VG10. Glossy medium brown mixed with olive brown in the fields on the obverse. The only mark is a dull nick at the top of star 1. E-MDS, Grellman state b, with well-defined rim cuds from over star 4 to star 5 and another over star 6. Our grade is VG8+ . The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. 7464387

LOT 263 1820 N-9 R3 Large Date VF20+. Glossy light chocolate blending to darker chocolate in protected areas with steel brown toning on the highpoints. No defects, just moderate wear on the devices. E-MDS, die state b, with a fine vertical crack from the bust down to the 8. The repunching under the T in CENT is still sharp. Ex McCawley & Grellman Auctions 6/5/1993:213-Joseph V. Includes 1820 N-11 R2 Large Date AG3, 1821 N-2 R1 G4, 1822 N-4 R2 VG7, 1823/2 N-1 R2 Overdate 3 over 2 AG3, and 1823 N-2 R2 Fair-2+. A couple are slightly sharper with minor defects but all have a readable date. Lot of 5 coins.

LOT 268 1824/2 N-1 R1 Overdate 4 over 2, ANACS graded F15. Glossy mix of chocolate and light brown. Smooth and attractive. There is a dull nick at the dentils left of star 4 and another in the dentils at TE in UNITED. Otherwise quite nice for the grade. EDS, Grellman state b, with no crumbling in the obverse dentils. The overdate feature is obvious. Our grade is F15. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. 7464389
