LOT 256 1817 N-7 R3 ANACS graded VF30. Glossy light chocolate brown with lots of frosty tan on the obverse. Smooth and the only notable mark is a tiny rim bruise at star 1. LDS, Grellman state d, with a large “Mouse” break on top of the head and a series of rim cuds from star 12 to star 13. Our grade is VF20+, close to VF25. LOT 259 1818 N-9 R3 PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Frosty tan and light steel brown with darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. The fields are satiny and this cent has very nice eye appeal. Looks mint state but there is a hint of friction on the highpoints. A spot of darker toning at the top of the hair bun and another over the T in UNITED are the notable marks. LOT 257 1818 N-2 R4 ANACS graded F12. Glossy chocolate brown and steel. Smooth and quite nice except for some very light scratches around ONE CENT. EDS, Grellman state a, with an uncracked reverse. Our grade is F12 net VG10. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. 7537304

LOT 258 1818 N-3 R3 ANACS EF40 Details, Damaged. Frosty mix of steel brown and darker olive brown. There are a couple dull scratches in the field before the portrait and numerous tiny ticks scattered over the obverse. None of the marks is visible to the unaided eye. LDS, Grellman state b. The fields are flowlined and the spike up from the coronet over the L is gone. Struck with the reverse rotated 30 degrees CCW. Our grade is EF40 sharpness net VF20. LOT 260 1818 N-10 R1 MS62. Frosty mint red fading to steel brown on the devices with half the red remaining, mostly on the reverse. A spot of darker toning (not carbon) at the lower right point of star 5 is the only notable mark. M-LDS, the usual Randall Hoard die state for this variety. Removed from a PCGS holder graded MS63RB (PCGS label #1601.63/21907796 included).
