EARLY CENTS AUCTIONS
LOT 240 1813 S-292 R2 PCGS graded MS62 Brown. Glossy chocolate brown with bluish steel overtones on the reverse. Flowline luster covers the fields and this cent has very nice eye appeal. There is light friction on the highpoints and only minor contact marks. The notable marks are a light vertical scratch right of stars 2-3 and a very light scuff that breaks the toning under TE in UNITED. MDS, Breen state IV, with flowlines on both sides and die failure at the top of the reverse. Graded AU50 net EF40 by Noyes, his photo #39154. Our grade is AU50. 1570.62/34162137

LUSTROUS 1813 S-292
LOT 241 1813 S-292 R2 NGC graded MS63 Brown. Attractive lustrous chocolate brown and steel. Satiny mint frost covers the fields and this cent has excellent eye appeal. Looks choice mint state but a glass reveals light friction on the highest points of the devices. Just trivial contact marks; a tiny nick on the end of the wreath stem and a tiny pinprick between the I & C in AMERICA can help identify this cent. LDS, Breen state V, with no dentils on the reverse and the bottom of the date flowing into the rim. Our grade is AU55. The attribution and Mervis Collection provenance are noted on the NGC label. 2038623-044
