LOT 162 Pair of 1797 Cents. Includes S-130 R2 AG3+, and S-138 R1 EF40 net VG8 for corrosion. The date is weak but readable on the first, strong on the second. Lot of 2 coins.

LOT 165 1797 S-135 R-3 Reverse of 1797, Stems NGC XF45. Olive and chocolate browns with a flake over the eye and atop the left ribbon loop. The notbale marks include a rim bruise below 97 in the date, another below the fraction, and a few faint pin scratches on Liberty’s cheek and neck. Smooth, glossy surfaces. Struck slightly off center towards 11 o’clock on the obbverse, Breen Die State III with the tiny rim crack from the adjacent leaf to the left base of I and a few chips above C in AMERICA. Our grade is VF35. 6269577-002

LOT 163 1797 S-131 R2 Stemless Wreath PCGS graded F15. Frosty steel brown and light chocolate. Smooth with minor marks including a very light rim bruise at K-9 on the obverse. LDS, Breen state IV late, with a partially raised retained cud break along the right side of the obverse. The date and legends are complete and strong. Our grade is F15. The Jack Conour Collection provenance is noted on the PCGS label. 1425.15/27574896
