BEAUTIFUL 1837 HALF CENT TOKEN
LOT 132 1837 Half Cent Hard Times Token, Low-49, HT-73 R2, ANACS graded AU58. Choice frosty light olive and medium brown. Sharp and very attractive. Looks mint state but there is a hint of rub on the very highest points of the devices. The only half cent denomination in the Hard Times Token series; often collected with the Federal series of half cents since none were struck with that date. Our grade is AU55 Choice. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. 7464481
