LOT 482 1854 N-23 R2 ANACS graded AU50. Very attractive frosty light brown and tan. Choice, free of defects. Just lightly worn on the devices. MDS, die state b. The fine die lines on the obverse are gone. Our grade is EF40+, close to EF45. 6196197

LOT 485 1854 N-25 R3 Stray 4 in Curls, ANACS graded VF35. Very attractive glossy medium brown and light chocolate. Smooth with trivial marks and light wear on the devices. MDS, die state b, with die clashmarks on both sides. The serif of the crossbar of the stray 4 is visible hanging down from the curl over the right side of the 4. LOT 483 1854 N-24 R3 NGC graded MS62 Brown. Frosty medium brown. Satiny luster shows in protected areas. There is very light friction on the highest points of the devices and the eye appeal is excellent. Just a few minor marks including four very tiny planchet chips right of the eye, a dull nick low on the neck, and a light scratch left of star 5. E-MDS, die state b early. The fine die lines on the obverse are clear but there is a very light crack through MER. Softly struck over LIB. Our grade is AU50. 4427906-022

LOT 484 1854 N-25 R3 Stray 4 in Curls, ANACS graded MS63 Brown. Lustrous light to medium brown with hints of faded mint color on the reverse. Satiny and very attractive. Looks choice mint state but there is a very light touch of friction on the very highest points of the devices. LDS, die state b. The serif of the stray 4 in the curl at star 13 is visible but mostly lost in the flowlines. Our grade is AU58+. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. 7301827

LOT 486 1854 N-30 R5+ ANACS VF20 Details, Cleaned. Glossy light brown and olive. Don’t see any evidence of this cent having been “Cleaned,” but there are some small contact marks. None of the marks is significant but there are a few too many for the sharpness grade. A collection of tiny ticks inside the top of the 8 can help identify this cent. MDS. The attribution points are clear. Our grade is net F15. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. 7537302
