LOT 285 1851 N-18 R-1 PCGS MS63BN. Nicely retoned and now olive and bluish steel tones with underlying faded red. There is a dark spot before the lips, and tiny nicks atop E on the laurel. Satiny cartwheel luster covers the surfaces. Our grade is AU58. 1892.63/85732438 Ex; Phil Davis

LOT 287 1852 N-4 R-1 MS60. Attractive medium brown with underlying original mint red remaining, about 10% on the obverse and 5% on the reverse. There is a pinprick left of the ear, and a tiny planchet chip under the chin, and it was struck through grease on the lower neck. Lustrous surfaces, M-LDS. Ex; 1997 EAC:405 - R.S. LOT 286 1851/81 N-2 R-1 51 over inverted 18 PCGS MS62BN. Choice light chocolate brown with olive tones highlighting the devices. There is a tiny oxidation spot under E in ONE, the only detraction, and a bit of rub on the high points. Frosty cartwheel luster covers the surfaces. LOT 288 1852 N-16 R-1 PCGS MS66BN CAC. Attractive light olive with underlying faded mint red and subtle bluish steel overtones. The only marks are a pair of faint, tiny pin scratches, one right of star 4 and another behind the hair at the neck that blend in well. Frosty cartwheel luster covers the surfaces. LOT 289 1853 N-6 R-1 MS60. Mix of tan and dark browns on the obverse, while the reverse is light chocolate with subtle olive tones. There is a small mark on the earlobe, and a couple thin planchet cracks on the edge on either side of star 8. Mint frost covers the protected areas. E-MDS.
