LOT 223 1823 N-2 R-2 G6. Glossy chocolate brown with a bit of dirt in some protected areas, strongest at MER in AMERICA. There are some wispy pin scratches on the portrait, and scattered dull nicks in the fields. Smooth surfaces. E-MDS. Ex; William Schwartz

LOT 227 1826 N-5 R-2 NGC XF45. Medium brown with deep steely olive tones covering the protected areas and a dark swipe on the neck. Only the most trivial of marks in the fields, nothing noteworthy, E-MDS, die state c. Our grade is VF35. 3470765-00 Ex; Phil Davis

LOT 228 1826 N-7 R-1 VF25. EF45 sharpness but there are traces of verdigris in the protected areas of both sides, strongest below T in CENT, and a scratch over E in UNITED. Smooth surfaces otherwise. Choice tan brown color. E-MDS, state b. Ex; William Schwartz

LOT 224 1824/2 N-1 R-1 ICG EF40 Details (Corroded). VF35 sharpness but lightly corroded with fine roughness in some fields and the protected areas. Dark brown and ruddy chocolate brown with lighter pale brown on some high points. A trivial nick before the forehead and a pinprick over O in ONE are the only marks. E-MDS, state b. LOT 225 1825 N-1 R-4 ICG VF35 Details (Corroded). VF35 sharpness but corroded with fine porosity on the obverse, and fine roughness on both sides. There is old crud in some reverse protected areas as well. Chocolate and dark browns. The reverse is rotated 25 degrees CCW. MDS, die state c. Our grade is VF20. 5198943601 Ex; Phil Davis

LOT 226 1825 N-1 R-4 VG10. VF20 sharpness but lightly corroded with granular surfaces. Free of notable marks. MDS, state c, with the rim cud over stars 8-9 extending inside the dentil tips. Ex; Tim Minkin - William Schwartz

LOT 229 Group of 4 Matron Head Cents 1827-1830. Lot of 4 Coins. Includes an 1827, 1828, 1829, and 1830. All sharper with surfaces issues. Grading VG to Fine. Ex; Phil Hyde
