LOT 195 1811 S-287 R-2 G6. F15 sharpness but dark with fine roughness on the surfaces. There is a dull scratch on the neck and another on the dentils at star 1. Dark olive brown. Ex; Superior 6/1989 - Rod Buress - William Schwartz

LOT 198 Trio of Classic Head Cents 1812-1814. Lot of 3 Coins. Includes an 1812 S-290 R-1 VG8 net G5 for roughness, uniform rim nicks, and cleaning, an 1813 S-292 R-2 LDS Breen state V VG8 net G6 for light corrosion and rim damage at ED in UNITED, and an 1814 S-295 R-1 Plain 4 EDS VG7. LOT 196 1812 S-288 R-2 VG10. 5 points sharper but fine roughness covers the surfaces with a few scattered pits. No other notable marks. Uniform deep charcoal patina. Ex; Phil Hyde

LOT 199 1813 S-292 R-2 VG10. Glossy medium brown and dark olive. There is only one trivial tick over the second 1, hardly noteworthy. Attractive smooth surfaces, nice for the grade. Ex; Island Coins Bowers & Merena 1988 - William Schwartz

LOT 197 1812 S-289 R-1 VG8. A couple points sharper but there are several old hairline scratches in the fields, mostly on the obverse, and fine roughness on the surfaces. There are also a couple notable nicks over N in CENT and the first A in AMERICA. Pleasing medium to dark olive browns. Ex; Bob Essig EAC 4/1989 - William Schwartz

LOT 200 1814 S-294 R-1 Crosslet 4 VG10. Slightly sharper but microscopic roughness covers the surfaces. There are a few minor nicks around ONE and the wreath above. Dark steel and olive with ruddy brown in some protected areas.
