LOT 261 1835 N-10 R4+ Head of 1834 with Small 8 & Stars G5. Glossy medium brown blending to olive brown in protected areas. Smooth and attractive for the grade, just worn. E-MDS.

LOT 260 1835 N-8 R1 Head of 1836 EF45. Sharper but there is a vertical hairline scratch between the hair bun and star 10 reaching down to left of star 11. Otherwise smooth and choice. Frosty golden tan and light brown. E-MDS, Grellman state b, with a fine crack from the dentils up the right side of the 1 into the truncation.

LATE STATE 1835 N-11

LOT 262 1835 N-11 R4+ Head of 1834 with Small 8 & Stars VG7. Glossy steel brown and chocolate. Smooth with trivial marks including two diagonal nicks over NE in ONE and traces of fine powdery dirt in protected areas on both sides. Late die state with a raised retained cud break from the U to under the ribbon loop. A nice lower grade example of this tough die state.

LOT 263 Pair of 1835 Cents, Both Very Scarce Varieties. Includes N-11 R4+ Head of 1834 with Small 8 & Stars EDS G4+ net AG3+ for contact marks, and N-18 R4+ Head of 1834 with Small 8 & Stars MDS G5 net AG3 for strong digs. Both are glossy brown and chocolate Lot of 2 coins.
