LOT 199 1828 N-12 R3+ VG8. Very slightly sharper with some dull, barely visible scratches around CENT. Otherwise smooth with only trivial marks. Glossy light olive and brown. The date and legends are complete and clear.

LOT 197 Trio of 1828 Cents. Includes N-9 R4 VG8+ net G6 for rim dents, N-10 R1 Small Date VG8 net G4 for marks, and N-11 R2 VG8. All have a clear date and legends. Lot of 3 coins.

LOT 200 1829 N-1 R3 Large Letters VF35. Five points sharper, and the eye appeal is excellent, but there are some small nicks scattered over the obverse. A thin diagonal nick right of star 4 is the only notable mark. Frosty chocolate brown and steel. Satiny luster shows in protected areas, particularly on the reverse. MDS, Grellman state b early, with a very fine die crack at MER.

LOT 198 1828 N-10 R1 Small Date NGC graded AU53, CAC Approved. Attractive glossy medium brown and light chocolate with mint frost in protected areas, particularly on the reverse where there are faint hints of underlying very faded mint color. The only marks are a spot of darker toning above the coronet tip, a thin nick above the 82, and a tiny hairline scratch right of star 8. E-MDS, Grellman state a. The dies are uncracked and the repunching on the 18 is clear. Our grade is EF40+, close to EF45. The attribution and Eric P.
