1800/1798 S-190 R3 Overdate 1800 over 1798, Style I Hair AG3+ Very slightly sharper but there is a “+” lightly scratched into the center of the reverse plus a few faint hairline scratches on the obverse. Otherwise smooth and void of significant marks, just well worn. Slightly glossy chocolate and olive brown. The date and legends are all readable although a few elements on the reverse are weak. The overdate feature is faint. $85 Source not recorded



LOT 260

1800/1798 S-191 R3 Overdate 1800 over 1798, Style I Hair F15 Sharpness VF30 but dark and covered with very fine roughness. No verdigris and the only notable mark is a fine diagonal scratch off the lower end of the hair ribbon. Slightly glossy dark grayish steel. MDS, Breen state IV, with strong die clashmarks on both sides and bulges on the reverse. The overdate feature is obvious. $975
