LOT 212
1798 S-157 R2 Small 8, Style I Hair F15 Sharpness EF40 but the obverse is covered with fine vertical scratches and there are a few fainter scratches inside the wreath as well. The only signs of corrosion are at the left side of the eye where there are a few specks of greenish verdigris and there are a few more specks on the end of the bust. Rather glossy medium steel brown and chocolate mottled with darker olive brown on the obverse. M-LDS with die cracks and die rust. Too bad about the scratches because this is a sharp cent. $1,250
