LOT 433 1907 Great Britain Silver Painters Award Medal NGC graded MS64 . A beautiful, very elaborate high relief medal toned dark bluish gunmetal gray with lighter toning in the engraved area. Our grade is consistent with the NGC assessment. Awarded by The Worshipful Company of Painters to “H. A. Barns for Painting Stencilling (sic) 1907.” Engraved by A. Wyon. Weight 56.9 grams, diameter 46 mm. The Wayte Raymond Collection provenance is noted on the NGC label. Certificate #4191254-001

LOT 434 (undated) Masonic Fraternity Temple Chicago IL Medal in Aluminum NGC graded MS64 . Lustrous and bright with just a few microscopic contact marks in the field left of the building and a speck of carbon over the second C in CHICAGO. The medal celebrates that the building is (at that time) the “Highest Commercial Building in the World.” Diameter 50mm. A beautiful medal that comes with a great provenance.
