LOT 424 (1861-65) US Civil War Store Card Token Fuld OH F-165R-27a R6 NGC graded MS63 Brown . A Cincinnati store card with the LEAVITT & BEVIS (hosiery & gloves) obverse and LEW BOMAN (I promise to pay 5 cents) reverse. Frosty medium brown and light chocolate with ample traces of mint red in protected areas on both sides. Sharply struck and the only mark is a sharp nick under VI in VINE on the obverse. Our grade is MS60+. A scarce variety that comes with a very nice provenance for a US Civil War Token. The variety and Kaplan Koppenhaver-Tanenbaum provenance is noted on the NGC label. LOT 427 1863 Calendar Medal by Aaron White New Boston CT NGC Unc Details Environmental Damage . Bright frosty golden brass with some corrosion near the rims. Otherwise free of defects. Our grade is net EF45. Certificate #2693638 003

LOT 425 Group of 6 Coppers . Includes 4 US Civil War Tokens grading EF, a 1775 counterfeit British Halfpenny with a small planchet clip VG10, and a Queen Victoria One Penny Model from Great Britain VF35. All are decent brown and chocolate with smooth surfaces. Lot of 6 pieces.

LOT 428 (1861-65) Satirical $ by Aaron White So-Called Dollar HK-830 NGC AU Details Environmental Damage . Light olive and chocolate brown. A bit dull from oxidation but the details are sharp. An anti-paper money piece similar to many of the Hard Times Tokens from the 1830’s & 1840’s. The attribution and Newman provenance are noted on the NGC label. Our grade is EF40 . LOT 426 1852 Silver Medal from the Harvard University Chapter of the Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity . Sharpness VF but there are numerous rim bumps and the name of the person who received the medal has been partially effaced. May have been a pocket piece for the recipient. The Harvard chapter of the fraternity was established in 1851 and it remains active today. Many of its members have gone on to be titans of industry and government including holding the office of President of the United States. Sadly the name inscribed on this medal has not been deciphered. Weight 542.5 grains, diameter 42.0 millimeters.

LOT 429 (1860) Aaron White Medal for New Boston CT, R-Conn-185 NGC graded MS65 Red & Brown . Very attractive mint red fading to steel brown with prooflike fields. Honors Colonel Percie Kirk and Britons Own Happy Isle on the reverse. Another interesting piece form the Aaron White company. Certificate #2643371-002
