LOT 267 1812 S-288 R2 Large Date NGC graded AU50 . Frosty medium chocolate brown and steel. Smooth and attractive, just lightly worn on the devices. A tiny planchet flake on the truncation over the first 1 can help identify this cent. LDS, Breen state III. The top of TES OF is flowing into the rim. Our grade is EF40. The attribution and Mervis Collection provenance are noted on the NGC label.
LOT 270 1813 S-292 R2 VF35 . Slightly sharper with a few small contact marks on otherwise choice, very attractive surfaces. The notable marks are a nick on the rim over star 8, a tiny hairline scratch left of star 1, a rim nick over the E in STATES, and a small planchet void right of the D in UNITED, and another at the rim off the end of the wreath stem (both as struck). Glossy light chocolate brown and steel. M-LDS, Breen state IV, with dull die clashmarks inside the wreath. A very nice Classic Head cent.

LOT 268 1812 S-290 R1 Small Date ANACS graded VG10 Details, Corroded . Rather glossy medium steel brown blending to dark olive brown in protected areas. Covered with minor roughness but the eye appeal is nice for the grade. No verdigris or notable marks. MDS. Our grade is VG10 sharpness net VG8 . The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. Certificate #7341107
LOT 271 1813 S-292 R2 VF20 . Lightly cleaned and retoned glossy light chocolate and steel with frost in the protected areas. Just a few small ticks including one under the left end of the base of the T in CENT. LDS, Breen state V, with flowlined fields and the base of the date merged with the dentils.

LOT 272 1814 S-294 R1 Crosslet 4 PCGS graded VF20 . Attractive glossy olive brown with lighter steel brown toning on the devices. Smooth and quite attractive for a mid-grade Classic Head cent. The only mark is a small planchet flake nestled between star 4 and the dentils (as struck). MDS. The reverse die is slightly misaligned to K-2. Our grade is VF20, same as the PCGS assessment. Certificate #1573.20/33761269
LOT 269 1813 S-292 R2 EF45 . Five points sharper but very lightly cleaned on the obverse. Attractive glossy light to medium chocolate brown with slightly lighter toning on the lower half of the obverse. Mint frost and flowline luster show in the protected areas. No marks, essentially free of marks or other defects. MDS, Breen state III, with light die clashmarks on both sides.
