COPY OF THE FINEST 1802/0
LOT 121 1802/0 C-2 R3 Overdate 2 over 0, Reverse of 1803 VF35 . Attractive medium brown. A very well executed cast copy of the famous Brobston-Miles example of the variety, the finest known. The genuine coin is plated to represent the variety in the Breen half cent encyclopedia. Another great hole filler.

RARE LATE STATE 1803 C-2
LOT 122 1803 C-2 R4 G5 . Slightly sharper but there is a rim bruise left of the date, a dull nick under the B in LIBERTY, and a diagonal scratch from the F in OF to the A in HALF. Otherwise smooth and very nice with just a few trivial marks. Glossy dark steel and olive brown. Extremely rare LDS, Fuhrman die state 9, with a cud break at STATE, and the section over the left top of the first T is slightly depressed as a retained cud. The date and legends are all strong. Nice for the grade in spite of the marks. A die state called Unique in the recently published Fuhrman reference.
LOT 123 Lot of 8 Half Cents, 1803-1855 . Grades range from G6 to F15 with an average grade of VG8 to VG10. Includes 1803, 1804 (2), 1806 (3), 1834, and 1855. All are attractive glossy brown and chocolate with smooth surfaces. Lot of 8 coins.
