LOT 265 1827 Overton-121 Curl Base 2 R3 EF45. Glossy silver with light bluish steel and champagne toning in the fields and protected areas. Smooth with light wear and trivial marks, none notable. Variety with a large C following 50.

LOT 268 1828 Overton-101 Curl Base 2 without Knob R1 AU50. Frosty medium grayish steel with bluish steel and champagne overtones. Lustrous and attractive with just a hint of friction on the highpoints. Very close to mint state but there is a rather deep scratch under star 13. Otherwise quite nice.

LOT 269 1828 Overton-110 Square Base 2, Small 8’s R2 PCGS AU50. Frosty light grayish silver with luster in the fields and protected areas. Subtle overtones of light bluish steel and champagne show on both sides. Just light friction on the highpoints and no notable marks. 59098130

LOT 266 1827 Overton-125 Square Base 2 R3 VG8. Sharper but there is dark crust in protected areas. Cleaned with brighter silvery gray on the devices and most of the fields.

LOT 270 1829/7 Overdate 9 over 7 Overton-101 R1 PCGS AU50. The obverse is light brown and darker gray with lighter highpoints; the reverse is frosty light silver with light grayish steel on the highpoints. Mint frost covers the protected areas on the reverse. Sharp and attractive with very light friction on the highpoints and no marks. The overdate feature is clear. 59098132

LOT 267 1827 Overton-131 Square Base 2 R2 PCGS AU53. Frosty medium steel gray with lustrous champagne toning in protected areas. Sharply struck with light friction on the highpoints. A thin stripe of darker toning down from the eagle’s eye is the only mark. 59098129
