Hall of Fame Half Dollars

LOT 242 1820/19 Overdate 20 over 19, Overton-101 R2 PCGS AU55. Variety with a square-base 2. A sharp, attractive piece but there is a fine scratch on the cheek and traces of crud in some protected areas on the reverse, mostly in the shield. Otherwise sharply struck with light friction on the highpoints. The overdate feature is clear. Frosty light to medium silvery gray with subtle overtones of light champagne. 59098120

LOT 243 1820/19 Overdate 20 over 19, Overton-102 R1 VF35. Variety with a curl-base 2. Five points sharper but there is a small nick on the chin and a tiny scratch right of the eagle’s neck. Glossy light gray with frost in protected areas and delicate light bluish steel and rose overtones. The overdate feature is bold.
