Hall of Fame Collection Half Dollars

LOT 227 1812 Overton-107 R1 AU55. Very attractive lustrous light silvery gray with bluish steel overtones near the rims. Sharp with just a hint of friction on the highest points of the devices. The only marks are a few faint hairline scratches very well hidden between the tops of ITE and the dentils.

LOT 224 1811 Overton-110 R1 AG3. Sharper but bent and lightly scratched with hard crud in areas on both sides. The date and legends are complete and strong.

LOT 225 1812 Overton-103 R1 EF45+. Frosty bluish steel gray with lustrous brighter silver in protected areas. Lightly flowlined with die clashmarks on both sides. The two small lumps under the I in AMERICA are clear.

LOT 228 1812 Overton-109a R2 EF40. Lightly cleaned long ago, now frosty light silvery gray with delicate champagne and steel toning creeping in from the rims. Smooth with no marks and light wear on the devices. Late die state with obvious die defects in the fields near the left wing. Superior to the Parsley plate coin for the variety.

LOT 229 1812 Overton-109 R3 G6. Light silvery gray on the devices with darker steel gray in protected areas. No significant marks, just lots of wear.

LOT 226 1812 Overton-106 R3 VF20. Glossy light gray blending to dark steel gray in protected areas. No marks, just moderate wear. Very late die state with strong die cracks on both sides.
