EARLY CENTS AUCTIONS
1794 S-66 R5 Head of 1794 PCGS graded VG8 . Glossy light to medium brown. Smooth with some small marks including a diagonal nick close to the earlobe. The date is bold and the legends are strong except for some weakness at ONE CENT. MDS, Breen state II Late, Heck state 3, with a strong die crack along the bottom edge of the pole. Graded VG7 and tied for CC#12 in the Bland census. Noyes says G5, his photo #28253. Our grade is VG7. 1794 S-67 R3 Head of 1795, PCGS AU Detail, Scratch . Beautiful uniform glossy medium chocolate brown with frost in protected areas. A sharp cent and choice except for a collection of short, dull scratches at the ribbon end and adjacent A right of the fraction. MDS, Breen state III, Heck 1, with die clashmarks on both sides and a faint die crack through the top of RTY. Our grade is EF45 sharpness net VF35. 35684.95/57516973
