1794 S-62 R4+ Head of 1794 VG10 . Considerably sharper but covered with fine roughness and there are a few rim bruises on both sides. Rather glossy dark olive brown and steel with lighter steel brown toning on the highpoints. There are traces of shallow verdigris in some protected areas and the notable marks are a rim bruise at ER in LIBERTY and another at the F in OF. LDS, Breen state II, Heck state 3, with a large cud break on the left side of the obverse, the usual die state for this variety. Graded VF30 net VG10 by Noyes, his photo #26205.

1794 S-63 R2 Head of 1794 VF35 . Very attractive glossy medium brown and light chocolate with underlying mint frost in the fields and protected areas. Sharply struck with very light wear on the devices and great eye appeal, but there are some light scuff marks on the rims that were added to minimize some minor rim bruises. The most notable bruises are left of the lowest curl, over RTY, and at OF. Otherwise just a few trivial ticks and planchet chips on both sides. LDS, Breen state II, Heck 2, with sharp die clashmarks on both sides. Graded EF45 net VF35 and tied for CC#17 in the Noyes census, his photo #26100.
