LOT 48 1794 S-44 R1 Head of 1794 VF25 . Glossy light olive and steel brown with reddish brown toning in some of the protected areas. The surfaces are smooth except for a small patch of roughness at the dentils and rim over the second S in STATES. Otherwise just a few contact marks including a small dig on the rim over the C in AMERICA. LDS, Breen state V early, Heck state 6, with die cracks on both sides and swelling in the field below the cap.
