EARLY CENTS AUCTIONS

CONDITION CENSUS 1804 S-266

LOT 334 1804 S-266c R2 PCGS graded AU53 . Very attractive glossy medium chocolate brown with mint frost in protected areas, particularly on the reverse. Smooth with trivial marks including a dull rim nick opposite the chin and a couple tiny ticks in the field above the hair ribbon. Sharply struck with very light wear on the devices and great eye appeal. LDS, Breen state IV, with two strong cud breaks: one at RTY and another at MERIC. The repunching on the right side of the 4 is clear. Graded EF45 net EF40 and tied for CC#6 in the Noyes census, his photo #26767. Our grade is EF40. A very nice example of this tough date. 36422.53/61468331
