CHOICE S-261 EX MICKEY ARCONTI
LOT 326 1803 S-261 R2 Small Date, Large Fraction, PCGS graded AU55 . Choice glossy tan and light brown with darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. Nearly flawless with very light wear on the devices and great eye appeal. A thin nick near the dentils off the chin is the only notable mark. Sharply struck E-MDS, Breen state II, with lumps on the neck from die flaking, a crack up between the 8 & 0, and fine die clashmarks on both sides. Struck with the obverse die slightly misaligned to K-3. Graded EF40 net VF35 and tied for CC#9 in the Noyes census. It’s better than that. Our grade is EF45. 36407.55/61468287
