LOT 308 1803 S-243 R2 Stemless Wreath with Doubled Fraction Bar, PCGS graded AU55 . Glossy steel and olive brown with frosty tan in the fields and protected areas. The surfaces are smooth and there are no notable signs of contact, but the toning is uneven, particularly on the reverse. A spot of darker chocolate toning at the chin is a good identifying mark. E-MDS, Breen state II, with dull die clashmarks at RICA but before the narrow rim cud right of TY. Graded EF40 and tied for CC#11 in the Bland census. Noyes says EF45 net VF30 and tied for CC#14, his photo #21159. Our grade is EF45 sharpness net EF40. The die-cutting errors on the reverse are obvious. 36419.55/61275974
