BEAUTIFUL S-25 EX FROSSARD-GARRETT

LOT 26 1794 S-25 R3 Head of 1794 PCGS graded AU50 . Nicely detailed but there are some small marks on otherwise smooth surfaces. Most of the tiny marks are planchet chips but there are a few trivial contact marks including a couple light ones on the bust, very tiny ones at TES, and a small carbon spot hidden in the leaves under the T in CENT. Glossy steel brown and chocolate with frosty lighter brown in protected areas. MDS, Breen state III, Heck 2, with die clashmarks on both sides. Called VF25 and tied for CC#9 in the Bland census. Noyes says VF30 net VF25 and tied for CC#7, his photo #26384. Our grade is VF25. Comes with a nice provenance. 35540.50/57538479
