LOT 23 1794 S-22 R1 Head of 1794 F12 . Glossy brown and light chocolate with frosty lighter brown in protected areas. Smooth with very nice eye appeal and no notable contact marks; just a few small planchet flakes above NE in ONE. EDS, Breen state I, Heck 1, with no cracks or clashmarks. Struck about 10% off center to K-10.5. A strong indent from the collar post (a pin that held the collar in place) shows on the unstruck portion of the planchet. Off-center strikes that show a collar post indent are extremely rare, and this is a really nice one. Graded F15 net F12 by Noyes, his photo #28952.
