LOT 189 1798 S-149 R4+ Style I Hair, Large 8 VG7 . A point or two sharper but the fields and protected areas are covered with very fine granularity while the highpoints are smooth. No verdigris, only a few minor marks including a tick on the jawline and a light scratch on the neck. Rather glossy medium olive brown with lighter brown toning on the devices. EDS, Breen state I, before any buckling on the reverse. Struck about 5% off center to K-1. The date is bold and the legends are clear. Graded G6 net G5 by Noyes, his photo #33371.
