LOT 179 1797 NC-5 R6- PCGS VF Detail, Cleaned . Very attractive glossy chocolate brown and steel with traces of lighter brown in some protected areas. Smooth with minor marks including a dull tick close before the nose, a small, barely visible rim bruise right of the date, and another at ED. Overall choice for the grade. Graded VG10 and tied for CC#5 in the Bland census. Noyes says VG10 and CC#5, his photo #26481. Our grade is VG10+ . We respectively disagree with the PCGS assessment of “Cleaned.” This is a nice cent. 35969.92/52085747
